The lyrical inspiration for this track came from Abba's "When All Is Said and Done", coupled with a dream I'd had where I'd met up with someone from my past and had a meaningful conversation where past hurt and anger had been forgiven. Would this ever happen in real life? Unlikely I guess, but it formed the foundation for this song! Musically, it has a reggae vibe and lots of reverb in the chorus to create the feeling of nostalgia.
